She started playing the piano at the age of 6 before she started singing. And as a result, she won the first prize at a few piano contests renowned in Korea at that time during her elementary and middle school years. Since then, her piano Education continued under the instruction of a piano professor at a famous Korean music college until she was 15, when she was in her first year of high school.

Settling finally in Canada in 2012 with her husband and daughter, Hae Kyung has been busy performing, teaching, and conducting church choirs in the Lower Mainland. She has worked with all ages, from the very young to those in their senior years. She has a passion for music and hopes to convey all the vocal and piano capabilities and skills that she has acquired throughout her life so that many students’ dreams of music can come true!
