Leo began studying piano in kindergarten and later broadened his musical perspective by learning the euphonium in the school band during his school years, which gave him a deeper understanding of musical expression and sound.
He studied with renowned pianist Alexander Tselyakovi at Brandon University, and has been awarded in international competitions, including events held in Vancouver, Toronto, Beijing, and New York.
As an educator, Leo believes that every student learns differently and deserves patient, individualized guidance. He has successfully guided students through RCM examinations and other performance assessments, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals. He focuses on developing strong technical foundations while fostering musical understanding and artistic expression. He enjoys working with students of all ages, setting clear goals so they can grow steadily and gain confidence throughout their musical journey.
