She has collaborated with artists including Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Andres Cardenes, and members of the Tokyo String Quartet in chamber music performances. As an orchestral musician, she has played in venues throughout North America and Europe, under the batons of esteemed conductors including Stéphane Denève, Valery Gergiev, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Michael Tilson Thomas.

Known to be a warm and passionate teacher, Ms. Lin has taught students of all ages for the past ten years, and has been invited to teach masterclasses at academies in BC. Ms. Lin wholeheartedly believes that the best thing about playing music is to be able to share it with your larger community. During her time in Los Angeles, she frequently visited the Skidrow community and local elementary schools to share conversations and music.

Ms. Lin has studied with violinist Martin Beaver at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, as well as Gerald Stanick and David Gillham. She performs on a Carl Becker violin, on generous loan from The Colburn Collection.
