Bachelor of Music Therapy: Voice/Piano/Guitar
Trina Nestibo is delighted to have recently relocated to White Rock
and is pleased to be a new member of the Nuvo teaching team. She is a
singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been a part of
the independent music scene in Western Canada for two decades.
Originally a classically trained pianist and vocalist, Trina is now a
well versed musician and educator who puts creativity first in her
approach to teaching, coaching and group facilitation.
Trina holds a Bachelor of Music Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts
(Psychology) from the University of Windsor and as used music as a
tool for learning and wellness since graduating in 1999. She has
released three independent albums of original music and has placed as
a finalist in the John Lennon International Songwriting Contest.
Highlights of her performance career include performances on stages at
venues and events such as Carnegie Hall, The Alberta Music Series, The
Neil Young Tribute Show, Calgary Folk Festival, Edge of the World
Festival, Lilac Festival, Mountain View Music Festival, Atlin Summer
Music Festival, South Country Fair, as well as the Rocky Mountain,
Nickelodeon, Full Moon, and Northern Lights Folk Clubs.
Trina teaches piano, voice and theory lessons as well as leading group
music classes and workshops. Her professional vision is to enrich
lives through music.
